Founded in 2005, Salt Marsh Cottage Books is an independent publisher specializing in books for young readers,
although many of our most avid readers are adults.  We are located in the Lowcountry of South Carolina, in Beaufort
County near Hilton Head Island.

While not all of our publications are about the Lowcountry, all of our authors live in the Lowcountry and are members
of the
Island Writers' Network, which is located on Hilton Head Island.  We are also members of the Publishers'
Marketing Association.
